Benjamin Cleary - Director and Writer

Benjamin Cleary is an Irish filmmaker living between London and Dublin. In 2015 he wrote, directed and edited his first short film, Stutterer, which won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short at the 88th Academy Awards in February 2016. Stutterer has played at more than 80 festivals worldwide and has won over 20 awards including a Cannes Young Director Award, an Irish Film & Television Award (IFTA) and a London Critic’s Circle Award. In addition to this Benjamin was selected for the esteemed Les Nuit En Or scheme in France as one of 30 award-winning directors from around the world to tour Europe presenting their work. Benjamin is represented by Anonymous Content for film & TV in the US. In the UK he is repped by Ian Benson of The Agency in London and in Ireland he is represented by Rebecca Bourke at Assembly.

TJ O'Grady Peyton - Director and Lead Actor

TJ O’Grady Peyton is an Irish director who graduated from the London Film School’s prestigious graduate program in 2010. Fresh into the professional ad space, he was shortlisted for the Young Director Award at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2013 and 2015, later earning a People’s Voice Award at The Webby Awards in 2016. He has created narrative-driven commercials for such top clients as BMW, Gatorade, Cadillac, Coke, Nespresso, and Conde Nast, among others. A cinephile from a young age, TJ infuses a cinematic edge and emotional through line in all of his work, no matter what length. TJ is represented by Decon in New York and he is currently studying screen acting in one of Ireland’s leading creative hubs, Bow Street. Later this year he will be acting alongside Ellen Page in zombie thriller “The Third Wave”.

Burschi Wojner - Cinematographer

Burschi Wojnar is an Irish born cinematographer. He is also a steadicam operator, underwater technician and has years of experience with drones. Burschi has worked on a number of drama productions and TV commercials that can be viewed at www.burschiwojnar.com

Sarah Flanagan - Costume Designer

Sarah is a costume designer and stylist from Dublin. After graduating with a BA in fashion design she worked as a freelance stylist in Dublin for nine years. During that time, her love for film and character development took over which led her to move into this world. She has always been a culture vulture and observer of the unique, beautiful and strange. This shows now in her most recent work where she uses her unique and creative eye to collaborate with people and tell stories.

Jill Beecher - Production Designer

Jill Beecher is a Production Designer, Art Director and Concept Illustrator from Dublin, Ireland. A member of the British and American Art Director Guilds, her work can be seen on such productions as revival series of Twin Peaks, Alien Covenant, Mother, Spotlight and Game of Thrones. An accomplished animator, she won Best Visual Development Award for Boss Baby in The International Animated Film Festival in Poland in 2017. Her work on The Revenant was recognised by The Art Directors Guild of America in 2016 with an honours award for ‘Contribution to Excellence in Production Design for a Period Feature Film.’ She is also a visual artist who has exhibited in Europe, America and Australia. She holds an MA in Creative Media Practice from University of West Scotland.

Rebecca Bourke - Producer

Rebecca Bourke is Managing Director and Executive Producer of the Dublin based production company Assembly www.assembly.ie where she represents over 30 Irish and International creatives.. She has produced work that has been nominated at the D&AD awards, has won multiple Kinsale Sharks, and has also won three Cannes YDA’s. She was nominated for Cannes YDA Producer of the Year in 2014 and again in 2016 when she won the esteemed award. Later in 2016 she was awarded runner up Young Businesswoman of the Year at the IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards. She is also one the main organisers of the CPI ICAD Young Directors Awards in Ireland.

Bob is an artist, researcher and maker. Lives and works in London, UK.
Studied BA Fine Art NCAD, Dublin 2005, MA Communication Design, CSM, London 2008.

 

Nico Casal - Composer

Nico Casal is a film composer and performer whose credits include the score for 2016 Oscar winning short film “Stutterer”, written by Benjamin Cleary. Nico started to compose music for short films in 2004 in his home town of Santiago, Spain. Five years later, when he finished his Piano Performance Degree at Vigo University he decided to focus on film music moving to London. Fast forward a few years and Nico has composed several short films, documentaries and full length features - currently working on his fifth feature, "La Enfermedad del Domingo", directed by Ramón Salazar and produced by Zeta Cinema. Nico is also an experienced composer for advertising nominated for “Best Original Composition” at the 2015 Music & Sound awards for HSBC’s global campaign “Pink Ladies”.

James Latimer - Sound Editor and Sound Designer

James Latimer is an independent sound editor, sound designer, and instrumentalist. James is a passionate musician, producing music and creating sound design for Film, Game, TV and Installations. James's recent work includes foley artist for oscar winning short film Stutterer, composing music and sound design for commercial projects with the NBA, Bacardi and Harvey Nichols as well as for community supported projects with organisations such as Southbank Centre, Mayor of London and Galway Film Centre.
