Caoimhe is from Dublin and trained at The Gaiety School of Acting, and Bow Street Academy. 

On screen Caoimhe's credits include Reign (CW Network) directed by Brad Silberling, Whatever Turns You On (TimeSnap Production), Rent A Friend (Kite Entertainment/RTE), Soulsmith written and directed by Kevin Henry, and Wave written and directed by TJ O'Grady Peyton and Benjamin Cleary which will make its premiere at Tribeca International film festival 2017, and The Randomer (Filmbase Production).

On stage Caoimhe appeared as Baba in two productions of The Country Girls, written and adapted for the stage by Enda O'Brien, and directed by Mikel Murfi (RedKettle Theatre) in the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin. Other theatre work includes Major Barbara, directed by Annabelle Comyn (Abbey Theatre), The Far Off Hills directed by Mikel Murfi (NOMAD productions), Breaking Dad directed by Jimmy Fay (Landmark productions), A Month In The Country, directed by Ethan McSweeny, (The Gate Theatre), You Never Can Tell, directed by Conall Morrison (Abbey Theatre), and The Constant Wife, directed by Alan Stanford (The Gate Theatre).
